Massage Therapist and Estheticians (Seasonal position from May 1st to November 1st)
Tree of Life Day Spa is about to enter its six season of providing the highest quality spa treatments to Bar Harbor residents and tourists. We are currently looking for four excellent therapists and two estheticians for 2007. The positions are seasonal with the possibility of an extension or even long term position depending on need. We are located in downtown Bar Harbor one of the East Coast’s most-visited tourist towns. Bar Harbor is located on Mount Desert Island home of Acadia National Park (just minutes from town). Stunning outdoor opportunities in the mountains or on the coast await you on your off days.

Potential candidates must be:

• Strong
• Friendly
• Highly professional
• Willing to learn and employ our unique style of massage and spa treatments
• Able to perform as many as 5 treatments per day, 5 days per week without quality deterioration

We expect our employees to:

• Be on time everyday
• Be well groomed (no long hair dangling on clients, facial hair neatly trimmed, bathing & deodorant used daily, no perfume or cologne, nice solid colored pants and shirts, no jeans, dangling jewelry etc.
• Be licensed by the State of Maine
• Have graduated an accredited school with a minimum of 600 hours

To be hired you must:

• Be drug and alcohol free
• Have no criminal history
• Send us your resume including documentation of your education.
• Obtain a Maine license (contact us for info on this)
• Provide three references including one from an employer and two from professional school instructors
• Interview
• Perform a treatment demo

Please Note:

• We reserve the right to deny any applicant that does not fully meet our requirements.
• You are responsible to provide your own housing and professional attire.
