This relaxing experience begins with a beautiful combination of natural sea salt, massage oil, and an aromatherapy scent of your choice. The salt blend applied to your body essentially polishes your skin as it gently removes dead cells and promotes circulation. Each limb is then wrapped in a soothing, hot towel, as you drift into deep relaxation. Don a soft robe after you rinse the salt blend from your body in a private shower. We finish the treatment with a luxurious, full body, moisturizing lotion application.

Swedish Massage $85/hr(Apr. 1st to Oct. 31st)
Swedish massage is most commonly known as “the gentle massage.” Though the Swedish style is commonly lighter due to the full hand contact and soft, flowing effleurage strokes, it is also one of the most versatile forms of massage therapy. Deep tissue, Shiatsu techniques, muscle stretches, and sports massage can easily be incorporated into a Swedish session. Our Swedish massage is a great choice for first time massage recipients or for anyone who wants to melt away the negative effects of stress, rejuvenate him/herself and improve the entire day’s outlook.

Deep Tissue Massage $85/hr(Apr. 1st to Oct. 31st)
Deep tissue massage is more muscle, ligament, and tendon specific than Swedish massage. Our deep tissue massage begins light and progressively deepens. By working within your pressure tolerance we keep you relaxed and simultaneously make the treatment more effective. Neuromuscular therapy (otherwise known as trigger point therapy) is usually incorporated into our deep tissue sessions. A trigger point is a hyperirritable area in the muscle that creates referred pain patterns (a common example is the headache experienced when neck muscles are tight). A trigger point is released by applying direct pressure to it. Through sustained pressure and deep breathing on your part, the trigger points release and the entire muscle relaxes. The more actively you participate through breathing, the more effective the treatment. Deep tissue is the perfect choice if you experience a lot of muscular tension or simply love a more intense massage.

Dead Sea Mud Body Wrap $95 (Apr. 1st to Oct. 31st)
The Tree of Life mud body wrap is a luxurious experience utilizing mineral rich mud from the Dead Sea. Dead Sea mud is rich in organic compounds, is extremely absorbent and draws dirt and environmental pollutants from the skin. In return it penetrates deep into the pores allowing your skin to absorb and draw from the 26 minerals and trace elements, which include magnesium, bromine, iron, selenium, and more. The wrap takes place in our private wet room. You begin by gently exfoliating your skin with a loofah mitt in a private shower. After drying off you will put on a pair of disposable underwear (you may also choose to wear an older pair of your own) and sit on the edge of the prepared table. Our therapist will then cover your body from the neck down with smooth, wet mud. After you are completely covered, your body is snugly wrapped in a special plastic sheet and blankets. This is a very detoxifying treatment that may elevate your body temperature causing you to sweat out accumulated toxins. It is not uncommon to feel a bit tingly as toxins reach your skin’s surface. Our therapist massages your scalp and neck throughout the 25 minutes that you are wrapped keeping you in optimal relaxation. You will then be unwrapped before stepping back into the shower to rinse the mud from your body. We finish the treatment with a wonderful, full-body, moisturizing lotion application.

Deep Lymphatic Massage $100(Apr. 1st to Oct. 31st)
The lymphatic system is the major route of toxin removal from local tissues. This deep and slow massage thoroughly flushes the major lymphatic channels in the body. The session starts with abdominal massage targeting the intestinal tract and its’ associated lymphatic tissue. A majority of the body’s lymphatic tissue is located in the abdomen thus we spend significant time in this area. We move from the abdominal region and pull lymph fluid down from the upper body and up from the lower body. Unlike our other massage treatments where you receive full-body work, this one is focused specifically on the lymphatic channels and areas of concentrated lymph nodes. Though this is deep massage do not expect to have muscles worked vigorously, instead be prepared to have your body cleansed. It is a perfect addition for those undergoing our detoxification program.
